I thought it was funny that I watched his lectures before I bought his book,and in doing so, cannot read his book without hearing every single word in his voice...

Are you doing Strang now? Why? You seem to be interested in pure math? There's so many better options out there than that book! If you're an engineer, I'd understand why you picked Strang...

No, I'm not doing his book now, but I posted this after coming across his calculus book online, and it reminded me of trying to read his book. I think you're right, I wasn't a huge fan of that book. I'm doing a different one now, it's attached. This one is amazing, and the exercises are fulfilling.
