Logarithm issues

Hello,

Can somebody please help walk me through the following?

1) If f(x) = ln(x), find f(sqrt e)

2) if f(x) = 10^x, find f(log 2)

Any help would be very much appreciated!!

I think I got them figured out if anyone can validate.

For the first one, I did f(√e) = ln(√e) = ln(e^1/2) = 1/2lne = ½ ∙1 = 0.5 and for the second one I did f(log 2) = 10^(log 2) = 2​.

$\displaystyle ln(\sqrt e)=\frac{ln(e)}{2}=\frac{1}{2}$
$\displaystyle log(10^x)=x,log(10^{log(2)})=log(2),10^{log(2)}=2$
