Hi! i,m studying vectory operations from a book for 3D graphic. In this paragraph is reported a formula I need help to know how in a real problem, should sobstitute the n and v in the formula. For exemple v=[5,3] n=[2,0] So let's calculate Vii= n ( (v*n)/v^"2) ) ok, i know how calculate the v (it's the magnitude), but what rapresents n and v ??

n and v are bidimensional vectors, so, which of the two values i need to place in formula? Maybe i've to calculate the value twice sobstituting each time n1 v1(2 & 5) with n2 e v2 (0 & 2) ?
