I am not a maths guy, i am a programmer i encounted a problem and need a formula here is a matrix  01 02 03 04   5 06 07 08   09 10 11 12  13 14 15 16  well it contain numbers 116 its a 4x4 matrix now i know the element 3x3 is 11 and 2x1 is 2 ect is there a formula where if i know the axb and i get the value for example if i have 4x3 the value is 15 how can i get 15 using a general formula.
