4x+5=3x+6

I have a Summer Exam at the beginning of next week on all topics that we have done, so I decided to do Algebra, but I forgot how to do it, because it was a while ago; can anyone show me the method again please to memorize?
Thanks in advance.

Math Focus: Yet to find out.
Memorise? What's that mean?

Math Focus: Elementary mathematics and beyond
4x + 5 = 3x + 6

4x - 3x + 5 = 3x - 3x + 6

x + 5 = 6

x + 5 - 5 = 6 - 5

x = 1

One example isn't going to show you everything you need to know. You might be better off studying from a text.

Linear algebra is basically, $\displaystyle ax+b$.

Using function $\displaystyle f(x)=ax+b$

Slope is $\displaystyle \tan \beta = \frac{y_1 - y_2}{x_1 - x_2}$

$\displaystyle f'(x)=x$

$\displaystyle \int_a^b f(x) = ax^2 + bx + c$

If you can solve the problem of the area between 3 intersecting lines, you're probably good to go.

Math Focus: Algebraic Geometry
That's a bit out of scope. He just seems to be solving for $x$.
