Interpolating 2 Vectors

1 Attachment(s)
Hello,

I attached an image of what I'm searching for, (which is how long k is) I'll describe it:

I have two vectors that start at the same point and have a defined angle between them. I also know the length of both vectors.

If I connect the endpoints of both vectors, the resulting line will have a middlepoint. From that middlepoint, what's the distance to the startpoint of the vectors?

According to the image: How long is vector k?

I bet there is an easy way to do this that I'm not aware of.

EDIT:

Aw man... nevermind: I'll just add the vectors and divide by 2... it's a parallelogram
