Exercise Rank parametric matrix

Hello, I have this matrix of which I have to calculate its rank as the parameter changes.

A = ((k,2,2k,0),(2,1,k-1,k),(3k,3,2,k))

RgA is at most 3 so consider the Submatrix ((k,2,0),(2,1,k),(3k,3,k))

And I find that the Det. isn't zero for k other than 1 and 0. Only when I see what happens for k = 0 I see that the matrix has rank 3. On the book in the solution considers only k equal or different from 1. Maybe I was wrong to calculate the Det. Change Submatrix But it's the same thing. Where am I wrong?. Thank you

Excuse me for my bad english.
