A simplification problem..

Hi all.

can anyone help me to simplify this term to solve for r.

-7.88 *( r^2)*ln r + 0.003863 * ( r^2 ) - 0.81 ln r + 1.974 = 0

Thanks and regards;

Re: A simplification problem..

You will not be able to find an analytic expression for r.

If you need only find the value for r then you can apply one of many numerical methods to locate the values of r which cause the expression to be true. This isn't particularly difficult to just guess and check answers and try to find the zero that way.
