I have to find a normal form for the real quadratic form: ${x_1}^2 + {x_2}^2 + {x_3}^2 + 4{x_1}{x_2} + 2{x_1}{x_3} + 2{x_2}{x_3}$ I know there are several steps there. It seems that I should deal with squares first? How? Thanks in advance!
