I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO POST A THREAD BUT THERE HAVE BEEN NO BREAK THROUGH: Simplify /frac{m+n}{2}-frac{m-n}{3} + 3(m-1) The expression should read m+n over 2 minus m-n over 3 plus 3(m-1) I need help please.

Never mind. I found some utube tutorials.

But that raises another question. Can I create a LATEX document elsewhere and then post it?
Thanks

You really don't need to do this, the forum supports some $\LaTeX$. You need to put the code you want to be rendered by latex within double \$, or just wrap it and press the$\Sigma\$ symbol on the menu above (the menu wont' appear complete below on "quick reply" box, you need to click "post reply" button).

Start latex here: https://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/LaTeX

You find anything you need for these forums there. For more advanced stuff you can google the stack exchange-like websites.
