can someone please work this equation out and formula thankyou verymuch in advanced this is very mind boggling for me the equation is in the att pic cheers

 May 13th, 2015, 04:15 AM #2 Math Team     Joined: Jul 2011 From: Texas Posts: 3,003 Thanks: 1588 The chord length of what I assume is a circular arc is 6 m Radii to the endpoints of the arc are 6 m Chord and the two radii to the endpoints form an equilateral triangle ... what does that tell you about the measure of the circle's central angle that intersects the arc? Once you answer that question, then you can use the equation for arc length ... $s=r \theta$ ... remember $\theta$ must be in radians.
