Area of a foursided prism is = 8 m2, and the diagonal is = 3m. Find the volume.

If it measures x m by x m by y m, x² + x² + y² = 3² = 9. Can you give its area in terms of x and y? As the area is given as 8 m², you would then have two equations that can be solved to give specific values for x and y. The volume can then be calculated as x²y m³.
