Hello, Is it possible to compute the bounding rectangle of the conical shape shown in the attached jpg? Edit: I had to zip jpg because it exceeded allowable file size

It is possible. With some simple trigonometry, it is very simple. Hopefully this drawing will help give you everything you need. $L_1$ and $L_2$ are the lengths along the outside of the cone starting from the vertex. Note that $L$ is proportional to the radius at any given height.
