GCSE maths homework help

Please help me solve these questions, thanks.

The diagram already divides the roof into two parts. I'll assume that the left part is a trapezium and the right part is a rectangle.

Area(trapezium) = base × average height = a(a + d)/2 = a²/2 + ad/2.
Area(rectangle) = base × height = bc.

I assume you can complete part (a) from there.

For part (b), the peak power output is the product of the roof area and the given power output per square metre. I assume you can write that as a formula.
