square pyramid

1. What is the volume of a square pyramid that is built in a cube with edges of 12 inches?

o A. 48 in 3
o B. 144 in 3
o C. 576 in 3
o D. 1,728 in 3

V=B x (h/3)

V= 144 x (12/3)

V= 144 x 4

V= 576 square units
