Geometrical shapes of Solar panels.

Do you feel other than Rectangle, any other Geometrical Shape can be built for Solar panel?

Thanks & Regards,

Can we evaluate other Geometrical shapes for Solar panels ?

Rhombus,Parallelogram,Kite,Square,Triangle,
Pentagon etc?

Thanks & Regards,

The energy produced by a solar panel depends only on its surface area and a panel can be produced in any shape to be of a given area. But rectangles are far easier, and cheaper, to produce than other shapes.

Thanks.

Will Circular Solar Panels can be also designed and manufactured?

Example - Circle,Oval,Ellipse,Parabola,Hyperbola,Cylindrical etc

Thanks & Regards,

Thank you.

Is it feasible to design and construct Circular Solar Panels?

Thanks & Regards,

prashantakerkar, do you not understand what "beer soaked fake gratitude" means?

Yes, as I said before, you can cut solar panels to any shape you like. But rectangular solar panels are much easier and cheaper to make than any other shape so you would have to have a very good reason for wanting another shape.
Thanks from jonah

prashantakerkar, you were asked by a moderator, in another thread (here), what purpose you have in posting these questions and you did not provide an answer. Please do so before posting any further.
