Ciecunferência - Circumference

Given the equation x ^ 2 + by ^ 2 = c, where a, b and c are real not nulls, it is true that its graphical representation is:

a) circumference, if a = b

b) hipérbol, if a = b and c = b

c) the center of the ellipse at the origin, the 3 # b and c = 1

d) circumference, if a = c and b> 0

Desde já , obrigado!

did you mean $ax^2+by^2=c$ ?

by "circumference", do you mean a circle?

So? You didn't answer my questions ...

Also, is this multiple choice?

This is clearly a conic sections question, so I'm guessing they may call an equation of a circle an equation of a circumference in Brazil...
