If the perimeter is 120 what is the longest side length? Number 7: A 5"6 woman measured her shadeow at 13"9. Then she measured the shadow of the flagpole at 125 ft. How tall is the flagpole? Number 10: The velocity of a plane is given by the vector <8,3>. To the nearest degree, what is its direction Number 21: one leg of a right trianlge is 12 ft. The angle opposite the leg measures 25 degress. How long is the other leg Number 23: Determine the value of x and y (It's a picture so I'll describe it) Right triangle, adjacent leg = y, opposite leg = x, hypotenuse = 8 It is a 30, 60, 90 triangle. Number 29: Jill can swim 6 miles per hour in still water. She tries to swim straight across a stream that has a current of 4 MPH. The dashed resultant vector is her path. Find the resultant vector. That's all.

The side lengths are 4x, 3x, 8x, 5x (for some x), and their total, 20x, is 120, so x = 6 and the longest side length, 8x, is 48. 7. Since the woman's shadow is 2 1/2 times her height, the flagpole's shadow is likewise 2 1/2 times its height. Hence the flagpole is 50 ft tall. 10. The plane's bearing is given by arctan(8/3), which is 69° to the nearest degree. 21. The other leg is 12 cot(25°) ft, i.e., 25.7 ft (to 3 significant figures). 23. The shorter leg is 4 and the longer leg is 4√3. 29. Please describe the diagram and state what progress you have made with this easy question.
