Checking the accuracy of answer of this simplification

I was given this to evaluate:
$\displaystyle 6\bigg(1-\frac{7}{16}\bigg)^{\frac{-1}{2}}\times 2^{-1}$.
When finished, I got my final answer as 4. Is it correct? How do I check whether my answer is correct or wrong in such simplification or evaluation?

Math Focus: Mainly analysis and algebra
Yep. I got 4 (eventually). I'd check it on a calculator or computer.
