 September 2nd, 2013, 12:01 AM #1 Newbie   Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Help reversing formula Hi everyone, Not sure if I posted this in the right section, but let's say I have the following formula: Code: (a * 10d) / (g * r) - (u - 0.5d) * (g * 0.002d) Now let's say I know the result of that equation, how would I go about determining the value of u?

Let's say the equation was

Supposing that the equation is : value =((a * 10d) / (g * r)) - ((u - 0.5d) * (g * 0.002d)) (u - 0.5d) * (g * 0.002d) = ((a * 10d) / (g * r)) - value (u - 0.5d) = ? u = ?
