Re: Help reversing formula

Please forgive me

Let's say the equation was

Quote:
 value = (a * 10d) / (g * r) - (u - 0.5d) * (g * 0.002d)
And I know value, how can I determine u?

Thanks in advance

 September 2nd, 2013, 04:08 AM #5 Senior Member   Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 334 Thanks: 8 Re: Help reversing formula is it : value =((a * 10d) / (g * r)) - ((u - 0.5d) * (g * 0.002d)) or value = (a * 10d) / ((g * r) - (u - 0.5d) * (g * 0.002d)) ? Supposing that the equation is : value =((a * 10d) / (g * r)) - ((u - 0.5d) * (g * 0.002d)) (u - 0.5d) * (g * 0.002d) = ((a * 10d) / (g * r)) - value (u - 0.5d) = ? u = ?
