Fraction

Nmadi and Nwosu share a certian number of stamp in the ratio 5:8.
(a) What fraction of Nwosu's share is Namdi's share?
(b) If Nwosu has 368 stamps, how many stamps does Namdi have?

What if the (a) question is put like this:
What fraction of Namdi's share is Nwosu's share? How will you answer it?

Re: Fraction

I think I need to understand what the statement "What fraction of Nwosu's share is Namdi's share?" mean, before I can begin to assimilate
the problem fully.
