Hello, I was just doing this problem; it has explanation too, but I can't think why (25x) comes. I hope to get an answer from my fellow forum friends. Thanks in advance. Last edited by skipjack; March 13th, 2019 at 03:29 PM.

since x = total number of ordered tshirts, (x25) represents the number of tshirts beyond the 25 minimum order. cost = 1.065[(flat rate of \$150 for the first 25 shirts) + (\$5 for each shirt more than the minimum 25)] $C = 1.065[\$150 + \$5(x25)]$
