Working out perimeter of an envelope

You need a padded envelope to post the frame and photo.
Work out the perimeter of the padded envelope below.

 August 14th, 2018, 11:06 AM #2 Member   Joined: Aug 2018 From: Warrington Posts: 50 Thanks: 1 I have worked the perimeter out as 20 cm x 2 = 40 cm then 25 cm x 2 = 50 cm then add 40 cm and 50 cm = 90 cm. This is the correct way to work this out?
 August 14th, 2018, 12:00 PM #3 Global Moderator   Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 20,271 Thanks: 1959 It's correct. Another correct way would be to add 20 cm to 25 cm, which gives 45 cm, and then multiply that by 2 to get 90 cm.
