Working out perimeter of an envelope

You need a padded envelope to post the frame and photo.
Work out the perimeter of the padded envelope below.

I have worked the perimeter out as 20 cm x 2 = 40 cm then 25 cm x 2 = 50 cm then add 40 cm and 50 cm = 90 cm.

This is the correct way to work this out?

It's correct. Another correct way would be to add 20 cm to 25 cm, which gives 45 cm, and then multiply that by 2 to get 90 cm.
