need help




a belt is driven by a pulley at 33m/s the pulley rotates at 750 r/min. calculate:

(a) the rotational frequency in r/s

(b) the diameter of the drive pulley

if the rate of revolution 750 revolutions per minute and the belt speed is $v = 33 \, m/sec$ ...

(a) rotational frequency in radians per second ...

$\omega = \dfrac{750 \, rev}{min} \cdot \dfrac{2\pi \, rad}{rev} \cdot \dfrac{1 \, min}{60 \, sec}$

(b) $d = 2r = \dfrac{2v}{\omega}$
