math question (ratio)

can someone help me out with this:
a bourbon press is 1 part bourbon, 2 parts club soda, 3 parts ginger ale. How many oz of each ingredient should you mix together to make a batch that will serve a 10 oz drink for 20 people?

200 oz divided by 6 total parts is 33 and 1/3 oz per part ...

33 and 1/3 oz of bourbon

66 and 2/3 oz of soda

100 oz of ginger ale

A recipe for fish chowder makes 150 portions, each 6 fluid oz. The recipe calls for 25 pounds of cod fillets. You will be serving 40 servings, 8 fluid oz each. What quantity of cleaned cod fillets will you need?

320 divided by 25 equals 12 pounds, is that the correct answer?

No.

$\dfrac{x}{320}=\dfrac{25}{900}$

solve for x

You might be expected to round up to 8.89 pounds or give 80/9 pounds or 8 8/9 pounds.
