 December 4th, 2012, 02:11 AM #1 Newbie   Joined: Dec 2012 Posts: 17 Thanks: 0 please help me while solving this problem Q1. A can do a piece of work in 36 days, B in 54 days. Both began the work together, but a left 3 days before the completion of the work. How long will it take to finish the work?

Lastly calculate the total number of days note: the question is not worded clear enough, it says that "A left 3 days before the completion of the work." by 3 days, does it mean 3 days of them working together or 3 days for b to do the rest? Also, PLEASE show your work about what you have done because this may help others to find where you are stuck with so they can help you out in a much easier fashion
