 December 20th, 2015, 12:58 AM #1 Newbie   Joined: Dec 2015 From: London Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 System of 9 linear equations, 9 variables Which is the solution (if any) of the following system of equations: 10/3a+b=10/3 a*x+b=2x+10 c*x+d=2x+10 10c+d=0 -2e+f=6 e*y+f=0 a*y+b=0 e*z+f=-2z+10 c*z+d=-2z+10

You could eliminate x,y,z and get six equations involving a,b,c,d,e,f, but going further would require solving nonlinear equations. Last edited by mathman; December 20th, 2015 at 01:40 PM.
