What does decimal form mean? Can anyone explain to me what this means and it would really help if you could show an example of a integer using the decimal form stated below: Suppose that the integer n is given in decimal form, where for all i. I guess I just don't understand the notation and seeing an example will really help.

Re: What does decimal form mean? Decimal notation refers to the base 10 notations.For eg: 156=1*100+5*10+6=1*10^2+5*10^1+6*10^0 As you see the all numbers are multiplying to the 10 which have some power.This is decimal notation.
