Passing the class

I got a D on my first math exam, and an F on my second math exam, is there any chance I have of passing the class. I am fine with a C. There is one more exam, and a final. What do I do? I am considering dropping the class.

Are the exams weighted differently?

Without knowing how the various tests are weighted, we can't answer your question.

It always amazes me that students taking a math course cannot calculate what score(s) they would need to achieve a desired grade.

Sorry to be brutally honest, but if you cannot figure this "real world problem" on your own, maybe you should drop the class and seek remediation before attempting it again.
