But I've got a problem that I need to figure out. I'm creating a web analytic application and trying to figure out the average here is killing me Here is what I have: Keyword Impressions Average Position Math Magic 560 1.245 Math Guru 12 1.458 Math Average 2 1.652 What I would like to do is get the average position for those 3 records. Problem here is that I can't just take the 1.245+1.458+1.652/3. This is because the average wouldn't be correct since 560 impressions outweighs the 12 and 2. Explanation of the above numbers: The keyword "Math Magic" was searched 560 times and our ads average position was 1.245, the Keyword "Math Guru" was searched 12 times and our ads average position was 1.458, finally, "Math Average" was searched 2 times and our ads average position was 1.652. If I wanted to get the average position for these three keywords and also take into consideration the number of impressions how would I accomplish that? Thank you in advance for all your help.
