Hi, I am wondering in this following problem: A contractor company runs a dam construction. It evaluates the funding of the production and the wages of the workers as presented in the following table: D P W 1 1,5 2 2 2 3,4 3 7 4 4 12 5,6 5 18 12 6 21 18 7 26 30 8 27 32 9 25 35 10 20 30 11 17 25 12 13 18 where D = time (the nth week), P = the production which is resulted, and W = the wages the question is how to determine the optimum time when the production and the wages are maximum? any help would be greatly appreciated.
