Example for "typical" total product function?

We think of the "typical" total product function as increasing slowly for small values of the input, then increasing more rapidly, then increasing slowly again. What are numerical examples of this?

$C(Q)=f+aQ+bQ^2+cQ^3$

Since the function starts at coordinate (0,0) you can consider f to be $0
