Or someone to walk me through what to do and what is going on please. http://imgur.com/lwza3mG I can't seem to find any on the internet and my books don't really talk about this. If y= 0 then the first equation becomes $\frac{dx}{dt}= x\left(1- \frac{x}{12}\right)$ while the second equation is just "0= 0". To solve the first equation, write it as $\frac{dx}{x(1- \frac{x}{12})}= dt$ and integrate.
