help with a riddle

Hi. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it mentions algorithms in the description so I thought it might be. Please tell me if I should try elsewhere.

A friend of mine has sent me an encrypted zip file. He says the password is "[adler32]+[crc32]", minus the quotes. I have little idea what this means, beyond google telling me that those are checksum algorithms.

My friend doesn't think I'm smart enough to figure this out, and I'm not! Any help or even guesses would be appreciated.

Re: help with a riddle

Here's my guess. Calculate the adler-32 checksum and the crc-32 checksum and put them together (in hex, which is how you'll probably find them).
