Would Full Dive VR cause human extinction?

If we have full dive VR would there still be people living in real life apart from poeple who maintain the VR equipment ? I am referring to VR brain implants/BCIs not VR headsets, googles, etc? I am asking hypothetically since i know that full dive VR is still a while away

If you were to give a rough estimate what percentage of people would stay in the real world instead of using these devices? 10 Percent maybe

Math Focus: Area of Circle
Any estimation is wrong because we do not have sufficient data or information to make statistical analyses.

I think brain implantations are far away, except maybe we start by trying on brain-dead people or people with some sort of brain dysfunctionality.

Brain implants probably wouldn't be popular or even lawful because of its Information Input System, which will probably rely on some sort of wireless systems.

Now, on the matter of best extinction ever,

The only way this VR can cause extinction is if VR chips are connected to the central AI computer. It is not because AI will turn evil. (This AI would most likely be a specialized AI, like AI of a car.) But because of a person like me would go to this AI center and will do some good stuff and cause extinction.

I just hope by that time we can develop a Bioroid technology.
