Actually, it's a concept question.

Does the locus of points equidistant from the two given points intersect the circle r=5?

The locus is a straight line which goes through the origin so it intersects the circle in 2 points.

If you are going to do it algebraically, the answer is:
What are z+1 and z+i?
What is |z|?
