Lightbulb Anyone Can Be a Data Scientist

Sounds like a mess, I know. Can anyone really become a data scientist? YES! With the correct background, especially math or computer science, we can definitely dive right into becoming a full fledged data scientist (:

Usually I am a little bit more humble, but around my peers, I am known as the most data driven stats major every one has ever seen in undergraduate studies. This makes sense, because statistics is the field of calculated assumptions & predictions based on data. I hated to see myself going some place else besides a data driven industry. Luckily for me, I didn't need to choose! Data is everywhere! But to really analyze it? Data science was the next step I needed to take.

Find out if data science is your next step (hint: It probably is):

& let me tell you more as to why you couldn't hide from data even if you wanted to (:

Sounds great! I only have one question.... wth is a data scientist? One of these new ghouls that do data mining for marketing?
