Upper and Lower Estimate of Integral

A table of values of an increasing function f is shown.
x 0 5 10 15 20 25
f(x) -44 -36 -25 -8 16 36
Use the table to find lower and upper estimates for the integral I.

I = f(x)dx , endpoints [0,25]

Re: Upper and Lower Estimate of Integral

Here is a hint: whether an estimate is upper or lower depends on which rectangles you use in the -plane. The estimate is given by an expression of the form

What should the values of be in each case?
