 July 13th, 2015, 03:39 AM #1 Newbie   Joined: Jul 2015 From: ireland Posts: 2 Thanks: 0 Maximum Likelihood Estimators Hi, I am trying to fnd the MLE of c with the following density function f(x) = 2*15^c+1*c*x^29*(15+x^30)^-c-1, x>0 L = Capital Pi {i=1 to n} 2*15^c+1*c*xi^29*(15+xi)^-c-1 = 15^nc*c^n*Capital Pi{(15+xi^30)-c-1}*constant Could someone please tell me where the x^29 goes? how does it just become a constant?
