Struggling with 2 integration problems

So while I'm pretty confident about what the final answers are,but the way I solved the question and the steps they want us to do aren't really matching so I was hoping someone could help me out with these steps?

Can you post clearer images?

Regarding the first example, as the function to be integrated uses √x,
it makes sense to try substituting x = u², where u is non-negative.

As x = u² implies dx/du = 2u, the substitution results in an easier integral in the example presented.

Yeah that makes sense. So what would the next step be, where I got the answers wrong?

The image is too fuzzy for me to read it.
