Probably an easy quick answer

Hi everyone,

Never been any good at maths so looking to see if anyone can help me with something which I would use in work.

Using a normal calculator (iPhone) I want to work out how much money I would have to make to get to a certain percentage.

So my staffing target is 18% is there a easy way to work how how much I would need to make?

So If my staffing came to £1,457 how can I work out on a calculator or excel formulae how much money i would have to take to make that £1,457 come in at 18%?

Hope I explained it well enough.

£1,457 is 18% of £8094.44, if that's relevant. To get that, I divided 1457 by 0.18.
