USAMTS Season

Hey guys,
there's this user, rachel1234 and shes asking for help on questions she says that are "for fun."
Don't believe her. These are from a month long competition, and she's just cheating.

This competition is annual and starts around October I think. Keep your eye's out.

Thanks
Thanks from quasi

Math Focus: Yet to find out.
Just out of curiosity, what is gained from competing in this? Apart from the obvious.

Haha but seriously, if they're just open problems, i don't think it necessary to put a bounty on someones head. Of course i don't think it okay to have other people answer the questions online either..

You can get free stuff, like books or stuff. You can also bypass the AMC10/12 and go directly to the AIME.

Noticed one of the sponsors is the National Security Agency ... as a government entity they must surely follow the maxim, "If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying." 👍🏻

But if it is a "month long competition" and "starts around October" then it is long over!

Thank you justforfun for making a big deal out of nothing.

Please make sure of what you are doing next time you decide to ring the fire alarm.
Thanks from Joppy
