I've played around with this a bit. Is it the points (0,5) and (3,5) right?

Are you given any more information, such as a point on the curve? This implicit relation has an infinitude of branches.

No. No points are given. I was wondering the same thing, but I know that the sin and cos graphs are bounded so the maximum y value can't be too high, right?

It's deliberately y. Weird.

Then there is no highest point, without knowing which branch to use.
