Optimization Problem

A piece of wire 8cm long is cut into two pieces. One piece is bent into a circle, and the other is bent to form a square How should the wire be cut if the total enclosed area is to be as large as possible and as small as possible?

Ive tired this one... but are there two possible answers for the largest possible area and two for the smallest area?
