I've been trying to measure the amount of oil in a tanker for years and recently, I suddenly thought of using math to calculate it. decided to ask the experts and so here i am with my virgin post. The shape of the tanker is like this. While it looked to me like the shape is formed with two semi circles by the side and one rectangle in the center, i am not so sure at all. My concern: ultimately, how do you measure how much oil are there in the tank for x cm depth of oil measured from the top?

Let's say the tank is elliptical. That will be very close for all intents and purposes. We need the height, width, and length of the tank. Can you get those measurements and come back?. We can also do it by saying the sides are semicircles and the center a rectangle. Either way.
