Hey I'm new to this and was just looking for some help; I'm having trouble getting into this problem and so any help would be greatly appreciated. First off, the question is based around derivatives, including cos, sin, sec, etc (year 12 specialist mathematics). The question asks to find a set of equations related to the 50m arc of an Aussie rules football oval, this is basically an arc of a circle with radius 50m, the width of the goals are 6.4m and I need to find a set of equations relating the rate of change of an angle. This angle is the angle between one goal post to another from a point 50 metres away.

You mention change of an angle related to a point. Is the point moving? If so, how? Also, can you provide a diagram that clearly shows the angle you mentioned?
