Nice new board but a lot of getting used too!

Anyway, the title is like beach animal translated.
The Dutch physicist/artist Theo Jansen made some animals out of plastic yellow tubes that can walk on the beach on just the wind. To get the measurements of the legs he used a genetic algorithm. Check out his work!

Jansen's creations are truly amazing.

They look like giant insects from my nightmares.
They would be appropriate at the Burning Man Festival.

I especially like his "walking building".
