Hi guys, Was not quite sure which forum to put this in, so thought I'd go with "other". In spherical geometry, any isometry of S^2 is one of the following: 1) The identity 2) A rotation with 2 fixed points on S^2 3) An antipodal map 4) reflection in a great circle 5) A glide reflection. But what is a glide reflection of R^3 when restricted t the sphere? Many thanks. x
