Algorithm Help

I am trying to find an efficient algorithm to get the following information.

Find A, B given integer N >= 1 where

8N = (A * B) + A

ABS(A - B) is the minimum value given N.

Does anyone have any pointers, or has seen a similar algorithm out there?

It is similar to factorization algorithms, but the + A portion is throwing a wrench in my ideas.

Math Focus: real analysis, vector analysis, numerical analysis, discrete mathematics
$\displaystyle ab + a = a(b+1)$
So you can use factorization.
Thanks from manus
