Scope or shot

Which is more precise: a world-class sharpshooter or the Hubble telescope?

I would think a world-class sharpshooter, they would be both accurate and precise.

What do you mean by precise? The telescope records data about where you point it. Whether you pointed it in the correct direction is your look-out.

I think it would be better to compare the telescope to the shooter's gun than to the shooter.
